Bible Believing, Preaching, & Teaching
77 Herman St. @ Dundas St. Trenton, Ontario
Welcome to Bethel Church
Bethel is located at in Trenton, Ontario, just a few kilometres west of CFB Trenton and overlooking the beautiful Bay of Quinte. We are a Bible Believing, Bible Preaching, Bible Teaching church. We boldly proclaim the gospel of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a church that understands the importance of gathering together for Sunday worship, prayer, Biblical teaching, and to enjoy the fellowship of believers. All are welcome at our church, and we believe all will feel welcomed by our church family.
We hope you will take the time to come and visit us on Sunday morning. Be sure to introduce yourself to me so I can welcome you personally.
Pastor Jeremy Cosco
House of Prayer
"My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Isaiah 56:7
The atmosphere of our church is prayer. We believe that our meetings should be characterized by a humble and genuine calling on the LORD, with holy hands lifted to God's throne.
Part of a Family
"You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of His household." Ephesians 2:19
Every person that comes to Christ becomes part of our family. As a church family we give and receive love and care. As God loved us, we now love one another.
Vision of Revival
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2nd Chronicles 7:14
God desires to send revival to the church. True revival is a sovereign move of God characterized by repentance, salvation, holy living, miracles, and the fear of the Lord.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Bethel was founded in 1931 and is part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. In 1929/30 gospel meetings were held in the house of James & Ella Mallory on Dundas St. In the summer of 1931, Rev. Earl Williams held tent meetings in Trenton. In October of 1931 Bethel received its first resident pastor, Rev. Earl King. A storefront was rented downtown for services with living quarters above for the Pastor and his wife. Our church has expanded and grown to our current location at 77 Herman Street in Trenton, Ontario. Our congregation is a friendly, vibrant family church of all generations. We are Pentecostal in practice, believing in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Imminent Return of Jesus.
Reverend Jeremy and Tiffany Cosco came to Bethel Church in November 2011. Jeremy loves to study and preach God's Word and has the heart of a worshipper. He also believes a genuine move of God will only come when the church returns to prayer. Tiffany assists with church administration, leads our Women's Ministry, and is active in many other ministries at Bethel. Jeremy and Tiffany are both graduates of Master's College and Seminary in Peterborough. They ministered in Welland and Kitchener before coming to Trenton. They enjoy sharing their country home with their church, family, and friends, hosting backyard picnics, and bonfires. They homeschool their three children, Kaylie, Nate, and Gracie.

Pastor Chris and Krista Hewlett returned to Bethel in 2022 as pastors with their son Johnathan, their oldest son Stephen is now attending post secondary school. After a fulfilling military career, and years of faithful lay service in the church, Chris and Krista felt the Lord's call to enter the ministry in 2018 and began pursuing the necessary education to do so. As Bethels church family grew it seemed a perfect fit, while completing his ministry education for Chris to join the pastoral staff in a church and a community they had previously loved and served. With a heart to see God's kingdom grow, and for outreach and missions, Chris and Krista have returned to Trenton.
